Hello,

when I travel to another map sometimes the error "failed to create bitmap" appears.

The odd thing is that this only happens random, when you start the game again it often works.

Example: Map 1 -> Map 2 then return to map 1 and the error appears but before the map worked fine and there were no issues.

It seems like this error has a chance of 1/10 to appear.

Hi,

Mind linking the scripts you are using (especially that which the error appears in)?

This error usually occurs when trying to create a bitmap with either width or height being zero, loading an unsupported bitmap format or if there is already an insane amount of undisposed bitmaps floating around in memory.

Have you installed any scripts yourself?
Yeah i've around 30 custom scripts in the current build.

edit: means the {0129} that it's script number 129 when I start counting from the very top?

No, it means that the error is in the script NAMED {0129}, and unless you really messed up the engine that has to be a script that YOU named in that way, because none of the default scripts have such a name.
I really suggest using readable names when you put in your scripts, because that will help in the bughunting (as you just discovered)

If you don't know which script this is in, you SHOULD be able to run the game, get the error, then when you open the script editor it SHOULD put you at the line causing the error. Then you can see which script is causing the error.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
