Wilted Rose:
Please Note:
I am aware I am not allowed to post questions for help in this forum. So as usual, for this game I will just go to the MV forum for that purpose. I am just posting this so that more people know about what it is exactly they're helping me to create. I am really grateful for the community's continued support. I wouldn't have made it this far without you guys! I hope you like what I have so far. Thanks!
Feedback Details:
Since I cannot ask for help for the game's mechanics (that's what the other forum is for) I will ask for general feedback instead (as this is something I would very much like to know). However I do not think my game is ready for a demo yet, and it certainly isn't ready for a full release. So I will update this once it is and give you greater details on the feedback I would like see so I can improve the game as much as possible.

Synopsis:
For those of you who don't know, Yume Nikki is a bizarre yet fascinating RPG Maker 2003 game about a girl named Madotsuki who explores her dreams (it's for free on Steam). There have been many fangames inspired by it, so what I'm doing can't really be seen as 'original' but I hope to use the idea of exploring the dream world and telling a story mainly by using the surrounding environment to its fullest potential. This is what any good fan game should do. Anyway, now that you know what my game is going to be based off of, I will give a brief synopsis of mine. It is about a man named Desmond, who like Madotsuki, explores his dreams. I will be telling his story through his subconscious mind, much like other fan games. But every fan game needs a different story, so I'm exploring concepts for that to make things more interesting.

Nexus (Dream World):

Like in other fangames, the Nexus will lead to other points in the dream realm. If requested, I will give more screenshots, but I think these give a good feel of what my game's going to be about without spoiling too much. If I post more screenshots, I'll make sure not to spoil too much still.

Features:
* My game will of course have Effects, which are a staple in Yume Nikki games as well as a core mechanic of the original. For those of you who don't know, these dream Effects are equip-able dream abilities that allow the player to interact with events and their surrounding environment.
* The environment itself in the dream world will tell the story. The more attention you give your surroundings, the more you'll know about the story. There will not be much dialogue in my game.
* While nowhere near close to complete, I want the dream world to be vast. But not too expansive for its own good of course. I want it to be big enough to tell the story I need to tell. So, there will be a vast dreamscape to explore.
