Window with gradient effect

Hello!
I was wondering if it's possible to create a script that calls a window with a gradient effect (like the default Map Name Window) with text inside, obviusly.

I don't know if it's easy or not but I'm really bad at scripting and I can't do it by myself.
Someone can help me?

The effect:

You will require to fill the contents rect with a dummy black coloured bitmap.

But it's easier by editing your window.png if you want all windows to behave the same.

I actually want to use the window in certain moments only, for example when you get an achievement to show "achievement unlocked". The idea is somehow recreate the same effect of the map window name (with the fade in and fade out and the same background) but showing the text I wanted and that I can call it when I wanted.

 

I don't know if this is possible. There's someone who can write a script to do something like this?

It's possible, you can find a similar usage of it in my single save file script.

I don't have time to make any scripts right now so you might need to wait till after Christmas.

If no one drops by to make you one, i'll see what i can do by then.

Bump this in 72 hours(request board's rule) if you can't find anyone to make one for you.

This script simply make use of and share the game map name display window.

Use this script call to display the text on screen

quick_text("your text here")I am not adding any sound playing to the script, because you can easily set it to play any SE when you use that script call in your events.
