Hello, I've been looking for a hill tile for rpg maker mv, but haven't found one yet. Here's an example:

I want the snowy hills like the standard rtp ones at the top of the next image

But unfortunately these are the RTP standard snowy hills that come on the RTP and I don't like the way they look when you map with it.

I'd like some help here, please THANKS!

Uhh, you want more snow on top of the cliffs so that you cannot see the stone underneath it? That's what I'm understanding at least.

No no no, what I want are the top hill tiles but with snow. The one in the bottom of the picture, marked with an X, comes in the RTP but it's not the same thing. I find it better to make maps with the first hills tiles, but there's no snowy tiles for that, only the one at the bottom of the picture and I don't like how it looks. Did I explain myself? I feel I'm confusing everybody lol

You want the autotile turned into a set of A5 tiles?

I think I know what you mean. Yeah @Sharm I think that's what he wants. I actually did this with the regular grass autotile, but not the snow one. I'm not the best at this stuff, but I think I could make a passable version of this for you in GIMP. If no one else replies, then when I have some free time this week, I'll do it for you.

It's not a recolor, that's literally MV's snow and sand autotile mapped in the same fashion as the other tiles in A5. That's why Celianna and I are so confused, we don't understand what benefit you're getting from mapping with them as A5 instead of autotiles.

All Sharm did was take the snow autotile and reformat it to fit the A5 format. It's just a bit of copy and paste work in Photoshop or Gimp or the like.

I'm guessing you don't like mapping with the autotile because it can be tricky with the edges reverting to auto format and putting borders where you don't want them? If so, that can be remedied by using the shift-click technique. Search for tutorials on it, they're out there for Ace, but it would be the same thing. It's a very useful technique to know when mapping.

I didn't know about the shift-mapping technique mlogan mentioned below, so I think that's it. And since I didn't know what you did, I used quotation marks on 'recolour'. But thanks!

I will watch tutorials about that, looks interesting, thanks a lot!

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
