Honestly, I have no idea about comercial use, I wasn't even able to contact Wora back when I ported it, I just got an ok about posting it here.

If anyone knows where/how to contact Wora, maybe you get your answers there :/

Anybody know how to get the pictures to follow you?

For example, when using a "Sun Ray" effect, you can easily see where the ray starts in the picture. Is there a way to make the picture follow the character so they never reach the edge of the picture? Or perhaps there's a different way to do this...

This is pretty late but, there's a script for that: http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/3076-fixed-pictures-for-rmvx-ace-for-parralax-mapping/ It should help.

@ChaoticShadow24

Increase the zoom to 300% or more if necessary.  That way the overlay is much bigger.  You actually don't want your sun rays to stick with the player, but have the player move in and out of sun and shadow in a more natural way.

When I start the game up using this script I get an error when I click play.

Untitled8.png

It brings me to this line:

$game_map.mulfog_name.each_index do |i|

How do I go about fixing this?

Xyphien, please do not bump your topic unless it has been 72 hours later since your last post. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

You need to be a bit patient and to take account of the fact that, because of different time zones, people will be on different work/leisure/sleep patterns.  Also everyone who answers queries here does so in their free time, and they will have other commitments as well.  The 72 hour buffer is there for a reason.

Okay, my apologies. Most sites it's 24 hours, and it was close to 24 hours.

Hello! I'm a noob when it comes to scripting. I'd like to use just the presets of this script but I'm not sure if I am imputing the right script call. Here is what I input-

$fog.load_fog(fog_1)

I don't think this is correct as I get this error-

Script 'Game_Interpreter' line 1411:Name Error occurred. undefined local variable or method 'fog_1' for #<Game_Interpreter; *In place here is always different numbers and letters*

I'm guessing I didn't put in the right preset script call. If someone could tell me if I am typing it wrong, or need to fix something else entirely I would be very appreciative. Also, if someone could explain how to remove fog so I don't go asking around later, bonus points! Thanks again for taking the time to read this.

you need to put the fog name in quotes.

So if the name of the picture was 001-Fog01 I would put it in like this?

$fog.load_fog(001-Fog01)

Testing this, I have a Player Activation trigger and I get the following error-

Script 'Game_Interpreter' line 1411:NameError occurred. uninitialized constant Game_Interpreter;;Fog01

I also tried to rename the picture to Fog01 but to no avail.

Any ideas, why my image is not moving? I made couple shadows of clouds and they should move smoothly, but they're just static. Everything should be right. I don't get it.

This is the call:

$fog.name = 'Fog'
$fog.show(1)
$fog.hue = 0
$fog.opacity = 50
$fog.blend = 0
$fog.zoom = 200
$fog.sx = 2
$fog.sy = 1
$fog.tone = [0,0,0,0]

Edit: Oh, Now it's working 0_o All what I changed was that I moved $fog.show(1) command below others. Just weird. So problem solved.

What are the terms of use, and do we hate to credit certain people who made to fog effects or just Woratana?

I love this script, and I see it was updated to fix the parallaxes not showing up. But I can't use the new script in the OP! It's all pasted into 1 line!

I can't use it. Help! I need parallaxes to work! Or is there a way to change that one line into the original script? I paste it into the script editor, and its all on one line.

It's unusable!

Edit: Already solved issue. The script have one "#" blocking the script. Took a bit long.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
