I'm not sure if this belongs in this subforum or javascript support, but since this doesn't really require any scripting, I've decided to post here. Anyways, I just tried using <WordWrap> but got this result:

As you can see, the right side has a huge blank area. How do I fix this?
Edit: Actually, I just tried it w/o <WordWrap> and got the exact same result...

If Yanfly used similar options to his Ace Message System in the MV plugin, then there are several configurations about the size of the window and it's padding. And this looks as if there is place reserved for a face on the right side.

A second possibility is wrong data for font width - the engine determines how much space is there by the number of letters, and you're using a different font. if that font is smaller and that info is not correctly set, a similar effect can be the result.

or it could be a few other things wrong in the plugin configuration...

Do you use any plugin that add <WordWrap> function? Because <WordWrap> isn't available by default.
And if there is a screenshot about your message box in MV editor, will surely help anyone to figure out your problem.

Looks like this was the culprit. When I removed the portrait on the left, the space left for a portrait on the right went away as well.

I actually got rid of <WordWrap> since it wasn't doing anything.

So I'm guessing you can't have a portrait on the left w/o the engine leaving space for a portrait on the right side?

wrong, that is not regular behaviour - by default the area is fully avaiable even with a face on the left.

as I said aabove, this is a change that is caused by a plugin or a plugin configuration - and you need to correct that to get the windows working properly.
and if you're using yanfly plugins, the first step at strange behaviour is always to check if they are in the correct order, because wrong order has been known to create a lot of strange effects and bugs.

I use the same plugin order given in Yanfly's sample project demo (contains all his plugins).

Edit: Fixed! Turns out "Tight Wrap" in the MessageCore options needs to be "false".

Btw, how do I get the party leader's portrait to show instead of hard selecting a portrait when I create the event?

Well, the textcode for showing a portrait is "\af[x]" and I tried "\af[$gameParty.leader().actorId()]" but it doesn't seem to read script. It works if I type something like "\af[1]" though.

no, that is ONE of several textcodes, and for this it is the wrong one - you don't want to show the face based on actor ID, you want to show the face based on party index.

Ah, thx I see it should've been \pf[1].

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
