Hello,
I wasn't really sure which forum page to post this under, so Moderators, please feel free to either move it or let me know for in the future.
I have two small clips of my World Map and I was hoping you guys could help me out with a problem I'm running into. I've got my world drawn out to be basically surrounded all the way around by rock cliffs - the player cannot get out of the world map due to this. However, inside the rock cliffs are four different 'zones' that the player will be able to visit so far (with a possible fifth one - this is still in the 'works' stage); I have them all drawn out and everything, but I'm not sure what to use for the overhanging cliff that keeps the player inside. At the moment, the only thing I have to use that I could think of is the cliff-side graphic found in Outside_A5 (I'm using the desert one, but don't think it really matters which I use in this situation).
As you can see from the two images, it leaves a rather ugly look to the world map; does anyone have any suggestions on what can be done to help remedy this odd look? It's over-hanging, so there really shouldn't be any sandy edges to it, which I know I can remedy by holding down Shift to remove it when placing it, which I don't mind doing... but then it looks even worse. :/
Is there by any chances any tilesets anyone can suggest, or maybe a default tileset trick that I could use to help make this look better on my world map?
