Hey i'm thinking about using a World Map system for my project but wanted to see if it was possible first
Like at some point the main guy and girl will get a scroll and it gives locations around there world of where to go and they follow them
I was thinking of having a menu that shows the World Map with glowing dots to show where to go but you have to follow the story and can't choose which one to go to so it shows a bright light for the place to go to next and like faded lights for the places that you can't visit yet
and it has a dot but it's gone out if you've already visited there
Is this possible? so like a plot point in the story carrys over to the rest of the game
I made a example on paint it would be like a scroll and when opened it would show where to go you could only go in order of the story so the bright yellow is the next place to visit and the faded yellow are the places you haven't been to yet the white is somewhere you've already gone
