I guess I'm one of the 10 people in the world that liked the saving system of the older RE games. Limited saves and ammo made it feel more like a SURVIVAL horror game where resources were precious and took planning. Heck, all of the RE games with that save system had PLENTY of ink ribbons even on the harder difficulties. I always have a huge surplus and/or stop bothering to pick them up. >_>

Now days RE games drop ammo when you shoot a bird. But I digress. *sigh*
I like the ink ribbon system too... It made me more engaged with the gameplay, after all it's a survival horror game

A save system that I hate is when the game only has an autosave system, nothing else.

myself I hate the auto-save method who don't offer challenge to the player ...I don't see the point in horror game to have a auto-save method..this is a SURVIVAL game so it is build for make the player rage and make them more carefully in ressources it what I don't like in new horror games this dammit auto-save

not so much the method of saving but the fact that it takes so damn long I have to go with sim ant on the snes.  Few minutes to actually save the whole file and that is not an exaggeration either.

Ah yes I remember Smack Down Just Bring It for the PS2 was similar not to mention it ate up 4 of the 8 MB of the card!  And it also took about a good 2 minutes to save.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
