Yami Ltd. Presents:
Wrath of Pyro

Wrath of Pyro is a Turn-based RPG in the same vein of The Binding of Issac, but with Final Fantasy VI and The Legend of Zelda elements.

Story
The game's story isn't grounded yet, but some elements and plot points have been finalized/choosen for the game.

You play as Neo, a warrior who was visiting a mine-shaft to finally see his mother for the first time in over 5 years. His visit turned dark as the mine was abandoned and he finally meets an evil demon named Pyro.

NOTE: The plot has not been completed and the story is not final so there will be changes during development.

Gameplay
As I mentioned before, this game is going to be a Turn-based RPG very similar to Final Fantasy VI. The game will also include Dungeon-exploration based on The Binding of Issac and The Legend of Zelda. Combat will be similar to FF, again, but with some tweaks.

Features
- 1-3 Hours of content planned (sorry for long-game players)
- Controller Support!
- 8 Dungeons
- Battles similar to Final Fantasy
- 6-8 playable character for your main party.
- +30-50 Interactive NPC's
- Many side-quests (side-quest has not been added yet)

Characters
-Neo
-Armin
-Cyrus
-Dorothy (Not Final)
-Estelle
-Felix
-Gildma (Not Final)

NOTE: Backgrounds/Personalities of characters are not in development.

Music

This game will be a commerically released game with a price undecided. I plan to release it first on Steam, Desura, and more and then port it to Android and iOS (and maybe plan on further ;) ). But don't worry, there will be a demo with the first 1-2 dungeons.

The game is still in development so don't walk in thinking the game is still like what it is when you first see it.

If you have anything to say about the game, feel free and put your questions below and i'll keep my eyes on them! If you want to see trailers/news of the game, visit my YouTube channel to look out on any updates on this game (and other games i'm planning):

NOTE: The Channel is deleted

And don't worry, i'll start an official website soon!

I hope you enjoyed this project and have a wonderful day!

Well, I could need help with all of the issues, concept art, etc. I'm just a one-man studio you know.

Unfortunately, I have no software that can take in-game pictures so i'm left with talking about it.
If ur using Windows 7 and above, there's the snipping tool that comes with it...

Else, you can hit print screen, open paint then hit paste...

Nice, you, added screenies! And, now that you've posted them, I realized that I drew the wrong character for Neo. I drew Aluxes. >> >:(

Hey guys, i'm back after a quarter Month of absence to tell you something good or bad depending on your view.

Recently, i've been thinking of doing other projects I wanted to do. The thing that set this relevation apart is that I wanted to make game Freeware, rather than work on commerical games. I'm not killing Wrath of Pyro but i am holding on the project a little longer to work on games I REALLY want to work on that i'll probably work on more.

I have some awesome news, Wrath of Pyro will now have controller support. This also means that its going to be more likely that the game will be on Xbox 360.

Why would I want to spend money on this game?  Why would Steam accept it for commercial sale?  What is the element that really makes your game stand out from the thousands of others out there?  What are you going to use to catch peoples' eyes (or minds)?

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
