About:

"All the basics are free except when the project is ready for funding or Major programming features."

-Not free for non-funding projects. All is free, but there will have to be pay at some point.

I do a lot of activities. Mostly short story writing, programming, pixel art, digital music, and pixel art.

  1. I like to make sound effects and musical effects - Energy blasts and other effects. I don't do many types, but can find a free effect if required.
  2. Simple short quest stories
  3. I can basically program anything, but pay is required for major systems.
  4. I am good at pixel art, but too busy with my own projects to do pixel art for others.
Join your project? Free?

I'd be happy too if it is serious, a lot of activity, motivation, opinions, and promise of pay at some point until crowd funding or anything. A real social group basically that works together and doesn't betray. I prefer to be around fantasy, space, and science fiction projects. Of course, this only works if you want to be long term friends. I am easy to joke with.

I hate micromanaging, so....please don't even try it. A real project that makes any money takes time. Pushing it can cause negative emotions that kill a project and repetition sprain.

Major Programming systems: (pay and artist is required for major systems.)

  • Item Inventories
  • ABS (Action battle system)
  • Clock systems, days, weeks, months, calendar
  • Marriage systems
  • etc
Limits:

  • Not a tutorial - only copy and paste events and code.
  • No sharing the programming with anyone.
  • The programming can only be used for that one project.
  • Same pay is required for reuse on another project and extra for tweaks.
  • Editing costs extra
  • Editing without permission requires pay - includes art change
  • I don't edit others scripts for your project.
  • I don't port unless it is to Linux and maybe Mac if I get a tester. This will require "Wine."

How does pay work?

I show a video of the system completed. You send the money by paypal and I'll send the programmed system.

Pay depends on the system complexity.

It could be from 10 - 100 dollars.

I am not really looking for payed projects like this, but If the project requires it for success then can do.

I also expect a decent share in crowd funding pay based on what I do for the project and based on how much the project makes.

Example on decent/fair for crowd funding:

Project makes 90,000 dollars and there are three (3) members. I expect 10,000 as a decent share (10%), but more if I do a lot of major work, then 30% (30,000) + the Paypal pay for major systems.

Rights:

I keep all rights to anything I make on the project and can continue to use my short stories, music, art, etc - separate from the game.

Contracts:

Not unless you want to give me one, but I do read them and might need compromise on it for me to sign and agree.

More:

Ask more about me in the comments. I don't mind casual conversation or answering questions.

Hey there, I am confused by your topic. It's stated that you're doing stuff for free and suddenly there's payment involved? I would like to point out that any paid posts should go to Classifieds: Offers if you're going to do that and have to create a different thread.

All the basics are free except when the project is ready for funding or Major programming features. Anyone recruiting me would need to know this information and I don't see the point on double posting or sending a link on payment info. If that is really required, then let me know because I'll just cut and paste payment info to the Classifieds and add the link to this recruitment post.

If the project is serious, then I'd be recruited, but I honestly have a hard time finding a serious project to join. There is 1/100 chance.

It's required because the rules for Classifieds is different from Project Recruitment. Especially when money is involved.

I am confused. Are you saying you will work for people for free, and they must pay you when they obtain funding? In that case you need to make clear that the resources are NOT free (free = free permanently, not "I'll give them to you now, but you can pay me later" ).

If you want people to pay for them, Classifieds WOULD be the correct place IF you were asking for payment at the time of providing the resources. If you are willing to not receive payment until the developer has funds (which means you are taking the risk that you will never be paid), then this is probably the better place, as "promise of payment at a later date" is not an acceptable arrangement for classifieds.

Then this is the correct section because I am risking not to be paid.

Thanks Shaz for helping clear this up.
