Hey everyone, having a small issue here.  I'm trying to make a Damaged Evil person sprite show up during an event and the wrong sprite is showing.  How can I fix this?  I want to use a hooded man but the blue haired guy sprite shows up instead.

EDIT: Alright, I tried it with another sprite and it worked for that one, but still won't work for the one I need.  Not sure how to fix it.

That didn't work, the sprite is still the wrong one.  It's strange, every other sprite in the block works properly except for this one.  I'll keep experimenting and update as I go along.

Exactly which sprite are you trying to show, and which sprite is showing instead?

Your description doesn't really help cuz there's a lot of blue haired guys and a lot of hooded people as well.

And how are you "trying to make them show up during an event"?

I'm trying to make the hooded Evil character show up, the last one in the first row, I don't have any add ons or anything so I'm talking about the one in the base software.

I'm trying to make the Damaged Evil character sprite show, but the first Evil sprite shows instead.  Specifically, I'm trying to make it appear after I win the scripted fight in the event.  Like I said, every other sprite shows up except for that one.

I know WHAT you're trying to do. I asked HOW are you trying to do it? Do you have an event page that's set to use that sprite? Are you using a Set Move Route command?

Show us a screenshot of your event. if you have multiple pages, show us a screenshot of each page. Make sure you include the FULL window, not just the commands.

Here you go: http://imgur.com/a/SPZym

I have no idea why every other sprite shows up properly but that one, but hopefully someone here can figure it out.

On the event page with the damaged sprite, check the Direction Fix button.

Didn't work, unfortunately.  I decided not to include it, it's not that big of a deal.  Thanks for your help.

On the event where you turn on that self switch, just do a Set Move Route on the event and issue a Turn <direction> so it's facing the right way. The "right way" will be "down" if the down sprite is in the top row, "left" if it's in the second row, "right" if it's in the third row, or "up" if it's in the fourth row.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
