I've finished implementing everything I wanted without breaking anything.
Found a crafting script that's suitable for the game. Skills are learned by equipping them and defeating enemies. Actors gain them permanently once they've gained enough AP/LP (Learning Points). Skills now target individual body parts letting you target legs to reduce movement or arms to reduce damage etc.
Attribute/Stat Points are gained on level up and let you customize the characters.
There's a new sleeker menu with icons that actually fit my line height.
This looks really good. There's some features that I was looking into implementing in my game before even seeing this thread, so I'm sure I'm going to enjoy playing this. Any idea when a demo will be released?
Goodfella - Hopefully have it finished within Febuary. Hopefully release it not long after that depending on how long it takes to test and fix any issues
I'm not sure which one I like. They both look good for different reasons. The second is crisper and clearer and you can see the finer details, but the first one has a really nice moody atmosphere.
I'm looking for a couple people with a spare hour or so to play through the demo before release and provide a little review and feedback. I'll send you the demo this Thursday and ideally I'm looking for feedback by the following Thursday so I have time to make adjustments for the final release. Not looking for an in depth critique or anything, just your initial thoughts and anything you feel can be improved upon. Send me a PM if interested
It's been a while but I'd thought I'd share what I've been up to. I was hoping to have released the demo by now but I've just been crazy busy over the last month or so. I'm dropping the minimal resolution because it's a nightmare to work with and Horror City was finally released and I think it's perfect match for XIX. I'm planning on entering IGMC this year so I'm hoping to have the demo out before then but it really depends how quickly I get everything back up and running.
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!
Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
