    Is it possible to re-arrange the menu to my liking?

    If I edit it, will just cause issues?

    Thanks for any answers. ^^

    Put the core script above this script as it says in the instructions.

    Tried it, didn't work.

    Every script of yours is below the core script, and the result just stays the same.

    There's something wrong with line 281.

    OK, I LOVE the way this is all set-up and the over-all, general look of this menu; it looks neat, tidy and -clean- most of all!

    I have one general question tho... Do you think it would be possible to edit this script to replace all the heroes there in the middle with just 1 giant portrait of a single hero if your game has only one adventurer in it?

    My game I'm playing with for testing purposes (and might possibly become an actual serious game) is based off of a single, self-selected "hero", with no real purpose in the game other than to defend the town you run into and build up your rep with them to get access to greater things until the final confrontation with the final "boss", so's to speak.

    But, I would only need one character in that menu and it seems such a waste to have all this space and it all be empty except for one singular square image at the top left or right. :/

    Any form of adive would be amazing guys!!!

    Once again, thanks for the AWESOME menu script. :)

    How can I change the bgm in the menu?

    It's far too "light" for the style of my game and I have darker themed music I want to use.

    this is all I can find

    def play_menu_music
    # // Method to play menu music.
    @last_bgm = RPG::BGM.last
    @last_bgs = RPG::BGS.last
    bgm = XAIL::MENU_DELUX::MUSIC_BGM
    bgs = XAIL::MENU_DELUX::MUSIC_BGS
    Sound.play(bgm[0], bgm[1], bgm[2], :bgm)
    Sound.play(bgs[0], bgs[1], bgs[2], :bgs)
    end
    and where does it even come from? I only installed the script and three graphic files, not audio.

    EDIT:

    Fixed

    # MENU_MUSIC:
    # Set the music to be played at the menu scene.
    # This is optional.
    # MUSIC = true/false
    MUSIC = true
    # MUSIC_BGM = [name, volume, pitch]
    MUSIC_BGM = ["Theme4", 70, 100]
    # MUSIC_BGS = [name, volume, pitch]
    MUSIC_BGS = ["Darkness", 50, 100]
    found the information here I was looking for

    The sprites I used are from Holders Animated Battlers but you could make your own as well of course. ;)

    Again though as I mentioned above I look forward to Nicke's solution as it will probably be more suitable. :)
    im getting a problem.  when I load my game and press "X" to open the menu, it goes black and closes my game, and gives me this error

    "Script 'ct code' line 44:NameError occurred. uninitialized constant XAIL::MENU_DELUX::FONT"

    I am using an alternate battle system "Jet's Viewed Battle System ", this menu, in conjunction with the High Fantasy 1+2+The Deep package (characters/sprites/tiles/etc)

    Hey, I also have an issue.

    Repro steps:

    * implemented core System below material

    * implemented menu deluxe below core System

    * changed Icon ID´s for menu

    * changed bgm Music

    * set save Option to false

    * started game

    * open menu

    * open under-menu´s like item (any)

    Problem:

    BGM changed to Default map BGM.

    BGS changed to Default map BGS.

    Fog Animation not available

    Transparent window Color is solid again (maybe just optical because the fog is gone)

    * leaving the under-menu to main menu starts bgm, bgs, Animation and window Color correctly.

    Should the script be able to continue the bgm and bgs sound if I enter items or Equipment (or other menu's)?

    I also tested the sound issue with another script. It worked fine.

    But I really want to use your script.

    Would be happy if you have a solution in mind :)

    Greetz, Acha

    Is it just me or does the personal option not work for custom commands?

    For each menu option in the script there is a personal option you can set to true or false. It allows you to select an actor before opening the menu, like how the equipment and status screens do.Does this work for custom commands? I set it to true but it doesn't let me pick an actor :(

    I think your custom command should support it otherwise it won't take effect...

    also, if the last option (the custom part which runs common events), has a value, it won't check for personal anymore...

    Ahh okay, I am able to select an actor now...but now it doesn't know what to open. This is the command in my menu list:

    :distribute_parameter => ["Attributes", "Receive stat bonuses from AP.", 14, true, true],and that gives this error:

    Script 'SceneManager' line 60: NoMethodError occurred.undefined method 'new' for nil:NilClassSo I'm assuming it doesn't know what scene to open, right? In case it matters, I'm trying to get this to work with KMS Distribute Parameter script.

    EDIT: After hours of torture, I figured this one out. The KMS Distribute Parameter scene call is Scene_DistributeParameter. So, In order to enable the personal option, I searched through the code and found the on_personal_ok def:

    def on_personal_ok # // Method override on personal ok. scene = "Scene_#{@command_window.current_symbol.to_s.capitalize}".to_class SceneManager.call(scene) endThey problem here is the .capitalize. That was changing the Scene call from DistributeParameter to Distributeparameter, which prevented the scene from calling properly, So, I just went to the KMS Distribute Parameter script and replaced all of the Scene_DistributeParameter with Scene_Distributeparameter and it works like a charm now.

    Hello, this is an AMAZING script, works perfect for what I want, except for one thing.

    Is there any way to get rid of the "details" part of the menu, with all the variables? Deleting those parts of the script just bug everything up so I'm wondering if it's even possible.

    I am having a small issue with a fog graphic. I get this line when I try to open up the menu in game:

    Unable to find file: Graphics/system/menu_fog1...

    I didn't do anything to the script at all. Just copied, pasted then tried to check it out.

    Nevermind, I just went into the script to remove the animation Menu Fog and now everything is good.

    Or you can download the graphics pack and it will work :)

    Nah, I like the black menu actually. How do I remove save and load from the main menu? I tried turning true to false for the menu save but that didn't do anything.
