Hey guys,

Its been a loooong time since i have had to do any real work with java script so i have a question for one of you with experience editing javascript.

i'll attempt to give as much detail as possible so you understand what i am trying to do here.

I have set my game to run at 1920x1080. most things are working fine with the resize and things are looking pretty nice.

However i wanted to implement rows in my battle system and this is where i started having problems.

i was using SVActorPosition to manually place my SVbattlers where i needed them and this was looking fantastic.

However when i switched to using YEP_RowFormation it of course modifies the placement of the SVbattlers.

The issue is that now my characters are again overlapping and i cant for the life of me figure out how to increase the amount of Y spacing between them.

Can anyone take a look at YEP_RowFormation and figure out what i need to add or modify in order to introduce additional Y spacing between battlers?

My Casters and non melee classes will thank you when they stop getting hammered on for full damage :D.

If you need more information please let me know.

Thank you in advance. The most i can offer is help in return with some graphics related things. (im great with photoshop and edits)

As Embarrassing as this is and i could have sworn i tried this already.

This can be accomplished in the Plugin editor for yanfly's YEP_RowFormation.

Look for the section that says: Row X HOME Y (the x is the row number you want to modify)

you will see the following equation:

centerY + ((rowSize / -2 + 0.5) + rowIndex) * 32

Playing around with the bolded values will get you results.

Additionally please make sure if you are using weapon animations to correct your offsets on these.

i cant wait to see all the 1080p games you guys come up with.

if you have any questions about this just ask ill be happy to show you what i did to solve this apparently simple problem.

No problem, if your using larger battlers and using the yanfly animated weapons make sure that you adjust for the new battler size or your weapons will be out of place when they animate on attack. Other than that it's a pretty simple edit. Glad I could help.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
