Yami_8DIR Bug?

Everything works normal until you dash up/left (7), it just won't do it while dashing (walking works in that direction). All the other directions diagonal work fine except this one.

Is this a bug, is anyone else experiencing this? No errors or anything popping up, and I'm only using this, YED_Tilemap, and ZE - Keymapper plugins, along with one of my own that doesn't use anything for directions. I've turned off everything except the tilemap plugin and it still does it.

Can you provide links to the other plugins you're using?


If you disable the others and only have this one, does it work?

It works for me. You probably have something that disables it.

I can't seem to find the file now. I thought it was in the packages when you buy the engine, but I just redownloaded them and its not there. I searched for it to download, checked Yami's site too, and didn't see it.

I did start an entire new project though and only added Yami_8DIR, and it still didn't work. I wish I could find the original download to check that, but I'm 99% sure I haven't touched this plugin with edit attempts at all.

Still not working in a fresh project or in my project. Can move diagonal up/left but can't dash diagonal up/left. Still no errors or anything either.

Are you sure you're pressing the right keys?  You're only expecting like a speed change right? Not anything graphical?

Cuz right now I'm testing it on a new project and a project with TONS of plugins that affect the maps and it's working fine.

I'm pressing up and left, then shift. It works all the other directions so I am sure I'm doing it right. I can walk/dash up/right, down/right, and down/left, but can only walk up/left, dash up/left won't work.

It's left shift. Right shift works, left shift doesn't. For me that's ok, because I'd be switching the dash key anyways. Dunno if it's like that for anyone else.

I don't mean it rude at all, but I am dashing ALL the other directions, I got that part.

See above, it's only left shift key. Right shift key works fine.

Left shift works for me. It's what I use all the time.

I dunno then, it's quite odd that it's left shift for that with me. Maybe I have a macro on my keyboard I'm missing or something that is interrupting it... still odd that I can do all directions with left shift but that one. Thanks for the help still, and it's a good thing it's just me!
