Hey there.... some of the Scripts (atm only Yami Scripts) like the Luna Engine or the TileMap are shown empty to me in the Plugin Manager. But if I open them with a notepad I can see the code. Is that a general problem or did something go wrong for me?

Does it have to be that way? Maybe just works with other scripts somehow Oo

Or do I have to install them in a other "special" way?

Anyone else got that problem?

Thx for your help :)

It;s possible those scripts do not have options to be changed inside the plugin window.

Click HELP on that same window for usage instructions.

The only Yami plugin I use is the Retain States of Death one... its plugin window is empty, and the help only says

There is no Configuration and Plugin Command.

============================================================================

States

To make a state to be retained on death, use the following notetag:

<retain on death>

So it's likely it's normal for Yami plugins to be empty like that. Hopefully Yami can add more info later on. MV just came out after all, and I am sure Yami was just trying to get plugins done. Quality control is prob later.

Yeah, possibly you are right. I just tested the 8 direction Script. It's also totally empty in Plugin Manager.

Still it seems to work the way it should. At least I can walk in 8 Directions now...and I guess thats all it does :D

Maybe the "Help" ll be added later. Thx for your answers, have fun testing the new maker... :)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
