I have recently started looking into Plugins for my RM-MV engine... I went over to Yanfly's website to see what she held and noticed she also had things for the MV engine, I only needed the Message Core [MC] - nothing else. I grabbed that and placed it accordingly into my engine, but I had not grabbed anything else from Yan. Is there something else I need to grab to get the MC to actually function? I have ran into a problem where the MC will not function completely - example, the (/ni) command should show the indicated item that I select to show such as item 0001: Potion, or the /n function which should show a Popup window for the Name box above the Message on the Left-hand side. I get none of this to work...

Please let me know if I am required to pick up anything else of hers, I read on her site, but nothing out there told me what else I needed to grab to get it to function. With how I read it on her site, it is set to function as a Stand-alone.

The name box command is \n<x> where x is the name. Don't confuse \ with /.

Please give us a screenshot of the event with the message that doesn't work - sometimes it's not the script but the text code, for example in most cases the IDs should not contain the leading zeros. It's item ID 1, not ID 0001. Leading zeros can cause confusion in the engine as that might be interpreted differently than you think

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
