Try this under value:

value = Math.floor(target.mhp * 0.2);

The problem may be that the game can't process a decimal in that way. Using Math.floor rounds down the number to the nearest integer.

There may be a problem with the notebox somewhere. What does the rest of the notebox look like? I need to see the other half to know if the error exists there.

X y and n are usually placeholders for the numbers you want there and they need to be replaced by the numbers that are correct for your game before the notetags can work.
And any notetag missing its data can cause the entire notetags to abort.

So please replace all placeholders with the correct entries and then check again.

none of that has an effect on testing as building the data base. those go in when get to content progression .
the other note tags was trying 3 turns +500 barrier

i turnd off everything under it in the plugin list n it works so gonna try n find what its not liking in that list

found out that yanfly's absorption barrier is not getting along with
yanfly's skill cooldowns. is something wrong with the plugin list i linkd?
that tread been up bit longer then this 1 n no responses

moving barrier plug down to the bottom of skill core's section seems to be working

Hi! It doesn't show any barrier here. It adds something to HP bar but it's an empty extra bar. Doesn't work properly as a barrier... What am I doing wrong?
