Im not sure if this is the right board but I have a problem with the Actor Transformation trick from yanfly's video, I have everything sorted out but when I use an animated battler that is larger than the actor graphic, I get a black box whenever the character performs an action or is attacked by the enemy. I am using Wispia by Ækashics. Any guidance would be appreciated as this is an essential mechanic to the game I am making.Error.png

i'm actually having this same exact problem. seems a few people are from what i've read over the net. the only solution i've come across is making the custom battler smaller... as in the same size as a normal one. unfortunately that was too small for me in most cases, as they'd be even smaller than normal actors. this seems to happen in general when switching to larger sprites in battle. i started my actor as the custom sprite and it worked completely fine. but be it through transforming, summon's plugin, or even eventing... if i switched actors during the fight, the black box occurs.

if anyone know's a way to make them smaller without being the exact size of an actor's sheet, that'd be extremely helpful.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
