I've been trying to increase the rate that the ATB bar is filled without changing the actors and enemis agility stat. I tried adding *2, *5 etc. to the per tick parameter but that hasnt worked.

Nowhere in the tutorial video or plugin help does it show how to change the full rates without either adjusting the agi stat or using a notetag to set the fill. Does anyboydy know how i can fix this?

thanks :)

I'm not sure if this what you are looking for, but try to change the ATB speed in Option/System in-game or scroll down to the "Options" parameter and change the "Default ATB Speed":

Yeah thats the setting i was looking for, sadly though it was already at max speed of 10. Because rpgmaker normally has stats relatively high, but my game uses relatively smaller stat numbers e.g. 10 instead of 100, my agility is extremely low. Since the speed of filling uses agility as a base, my bars fill very slowly. Is there anyway to increase the max speed so i can keep my existing stats unchanged? or any other solutions. thanks.

You could try lowering the full gauge formula to decrease the amount of ticks necessary to fill the gauge.

Try something along the lines of:

Math.max(2000, BattleManager.highestBaseAgi() * 100)

Keep in mind if you go this route you will need to adjust the Charge formula as well, unless you want to have charge times equal to your full bar time.

 I found out how to reply yay :).

I tried that method and it wasnt working at first so i revisited the per tick paramter. I tried adding to the users agility e.g. user.agi + 2000 and that worked but meant that agility stat had no apparent effect on charge speed when compared. So i tried * 2000, something i tried before posting this and it worked. Im not sure what i did different this time but it turned out well; maybe it was a syntax eroor. Then i used your method to change the relative filling times of speed and charge.

thanks for all the help everyone :)

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
