Hey all, I'm using Yanfly's Charge Turn Battle (CTB ) type combat and I am having an issue when a party member has enough speed to take 2 turns before the enemy. Everything functions fine however there is no way to indicate to the player that the party member will be able to act again before the enemy.

This is what it looks like, but I am wondering if there is a way to display the same actor's portrait multiple times on the screen if they are able to act again before the enemy.

Similar to how it is in FFX essentially. Where this displays that Tidus will be able to act again before anyone else.

Thanks all!

You may want to try THIS then.

The problem with this is that part of the CTB turn order is the speed of the skill that you use. Therefore, the battler's next place in the turn order is not solidified until after they take their action, so the plugin doesn't try to predict a location that might change.

I'm not sure how the extension JamesRyan linked to really helps you. It shows the battlers' relative speeds, but doesn't do anything to add multiple icons in the turn order like you asked. Really, you'd be looking for a different battle system (or modifying how the CTB fundamentally works).

Thanks for the suggestion, but at a glance I don't understand what the yellow bar means and I wouldn't want to expect a player to either. I know it relates to the speed but showing the same icon again would be a much simpler UX choice.

Yeah, I don't plan on having any actions affect turn order currently other than maybe an agility buff but I haven't looked deeply into a way to fix this after one of my friends testing commented on it.

That being said, it isn't too much of an issue with multiple party members, just for 1 on 1 fights where one character is particularly fast.

I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, there aren't any bad news to report. The bad news is, there aren't any good news to report.

Or as others say, yesterday was uneventful.

I am curious that can you "understand/get the point" about what does this place do generally?

After 'multiple breakdowns', it's finally over. 10/10 will do this again.
Ever notice that villains can reform and become better people, but heroes can only ever die... or live long enough to see themselves become villains?

Isn't that interesting?
