So, I'm trying to make a game with monsters that roam on the overworld, and chase the player when they see them. Once the enemy comes into contact with them, the battle begins. Sort of like newer Dragon Quest games or the Mother series. Yanfly's Event Chase plugin seemed like an easy solution. However, I have a problem. any event with a character sprite glitches when they spot the player. For instance, when using the default Slime sprite, the enemy will spot you and chase you however when the enemy turns either to the left or right the sprite glitches. With half of an adjacent sprite showing up on top while another appearing on the bottom half. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
