Hi, I was attempting to make class promotion system, using Yanfly(ClassChangeCore) -
instead of changing class characters, can be promoted:
Class promotions -
Warrior - Berserker
Knight - Swords Master
Magician - Grand Magician
Necromancer - Shadow Lord
Rogue/Hero - Shadow

I put the following inside of the note box of the class I want the player to be allowed to change to -
<Level Unlock Requirements>

Shadow Lord: Level 55

</Level Unlock Requirements>

But when I playtest the game by Shadow Lord class doesn't show up as a changeable class, any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Make sure you are level 55 first, else it will not show up most of the time.

I've moved this thread to Plug-In Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Yes, I thought of that. I debugged it so that my starting level is already a 55, but for some reason it still doesn't show up.

from what i can tell Necromancer is a predecessor of Shadow Lord.
Necromancer as Lvl 55 -> Shadow Lord

if that's the case your note tag for what i can see is Shadow Lord's note tag doesn't make much sense.

You note tags
Code:
<Level Unlock Requirements>
Shadow Lord: Level 55
</Level Unlock Requirements>
this means to Unlock Shadow Lord, the character must have Shadow Lord at least Lvl 55. this doesn't make sense, as you can never be a shadow lord without already being one.
what you must understand is Class Have separate Levels in the plugin.I'm not sure if it takes into account the carry over feature before having the class.
you want to start the game as a Necromancer, and have Shadow Lord Require the Level of the Necromancer, not itself.

Code:
<Level Unlock Requirements>
//Shadow Lord requires a Necromancer at Lvl 55
Necromancer: Level 55
</Level Unlock Requirements>
This code means, If the Character has leveled Necromancer to Lvl 55, he can become a shadow Lord.

Thank you very much for all your help, next time I'll take more time to look through the tags to try and decipher it myself ;)
But this has definitely saved me a lot of time trying to fix a rookie mistake, later!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
