Yanfly Command Equip Crash

So I've been trying to implement Yanfly's Command Equip(https://yanflychannel.wordpress.com/rmvxa/battle-scripts/command-equip/), but I receive this message when I use the equip command:

1. Name your scripts. Script '' line 218 is going to be of little use to you if you have 50 scripts and you don't name any of them.

2. This is the classic error that you would get by adding a new script then resuming a game you'd started & saved prior to adding the script. If that is what you've done, start a new game instead and see if the message goes away.

3. Does the page where you obtained the script indicate that there are prerequisites? If you need the Yanfly Battle Engine, do you have it installed? In the correct order?

My bad. I should seen earlier that it requires ace equip engine. The page didn't mention it as a requirement.

I'm not sure that it does - as you say, it's not listed as a requirement. The fact that there's a compatibility patch in the script doesn't mean the other is required. Does it work if you put that in?
