I posted this in the general MV forum earlier, because I didn't realize their was a Javascript support forum. Hopefully someone can help me here.

I'm having an issue with my game when Yanfly's ItemCore plug-in is activated.

Whenever I start a game with the plug-in on, I end up with 2 of armor ID#1 and 1 of armor ID#3. I tried to run an autoevent that would decrease those items at the start of the game, but it ended up INCREASING them, so I ended up with 3 of armor ID#1 and 2 of armor ID#3. None of my characters start with equipment.  I think I have the most recent version of the plug-in, btw. I started a new project, turned on the plug-ins I was using, and I didn't have this problem. I really really don't want to scrap the project I'm working on just to fix this annoying problem.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to correct this?

I actually just fixed this. Apparently, I had to replace the Shield and the Wool Cloak armors (Armors #1 and #3, respectively) with a newly-made armor. Weird.

So, I guess this can be closed now!

i updated all the plugins and still start with items i should not. If item core is activated I get extra items in my starting inventory (katanas, staves…) If it is not enabled my starting equipment is fine.

 

I can't replicate this in a clean project, so I guess I'm not too concerned. My current project is just a test where i converted over stuff from  ACE so I would have some starting data to work with. could have been the issue.(though strange only an issue with plugins enabled)
