Yanfly Item Upgrade Change Weapon Element

Hey all,

I was wondering: is there a way, using Yanfly's ItemUpgrade Plug-in, to grant a weapon the ability to change it's element of attack, so instead of physical attack, it could be a fire attack?

Also, in the same line of thought, is there a way to upgrade armors to grant resistance to certain elements?

I don't think this is possible yet, but I just wanted to make sure.
