I don't blame him for leaving. People were becoming more and more ungrateful for the amount of work he had put in.

I concur! - I write most of my own plugins for bespoke occasions but when it comes to the Yanfly's Battle Core & HP Bars I couldn't think of a better way to do it myself, so why reinvent the wheel! - Yanfly is truly a pillar of the community but has inspired so many, I don't think Plugins are going to stop being made any time soon
