Turned out it has nothing to do with Visual Battlers. It was the Party System that stops the Vlue Formation from working properly. So out of boredom, I clicked on the Game_Party under Game Objects in the scripts and came across "Get Maximum Number of Battle Members" on line 70. I changed it to 9, deleted Party System and placed Formation Bonus under Visual Battlers and it worked. No faded out members, nothing. Thank you, Roninator2. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have learned anything from this or gotten far. Maybe you could help others with the same issues I had and tell them to just delete Party System to play the Vlue's Formation Bonus properly. Lol. I wish you the best of luck, as well.
I wonder if we're using the same thing or have the same battle screen. I had to compare the script to see what might be stopping Vlue from running properly and Party System had the same class Game_Party as Formation Bonus, just different attr_accessor and added pieces.
