Yanfly Problems

For some reason any yanfly plungin I add to my build they all have no "Parameters, Description or Help" info. I have a bunch of other plugins that work fine but just can get any of yanfly ones to work and I don't know why.


I have tried redownloading etc. It does not work if it is a new project with no other addons only YEP_CoreEngine in slot one and nothing else.

If you open those plugin files in a text editor, are the descriptions then visible or are those files empty?


Did you rename the files? Renaming the plugins usually disrupts them in most of the cases


Can you give a link to a plugin that you downloaded and have problems with? Just to make sure that it is from the correct place


How do you usually download those files? You should do that by right-click on the link and save as, if you follow them to the repository and manually download them the exact result depends on how you store them and it is more work that way.

It was messed up format due to a rename, never had that happen to me before (or atleast never noticed it).
