I was going through my project play testing and realized I much prefer not to have party members change formation.
When I unchecked the formation box option in the database/system/Menu commands this solved the problem for me.

But then after play testing a day later I realize that my quest option is missing from the menu.
I thoroughly checked to see if it was a plugin conflict with no solution found until I realized that if the formation is unchecked the
quest option is removed.

I've been searching on the internet and found no mention of such a bug with this plugin so I'm resorting to asking on the forums here.
Now I'm not sure at this point if these plugins can be posted on here because I'm certain this one is apart of paid content.
Anyone here who has this plugin got a fix for this?

do you use any menu command plugin? or can you post
the plugin database of plugins you use?

if there is any error/crash, the consol log as well?

The only menu related plugins I installed are;
YEP_SaveCore
YEP_MainMenuManager
YEP_MainMenuVar
YEP_QuestJournal

I have an older version with these ON and the quest menu is present, but only when formation is checked ON it removes the quest option from the menu when play testing despite the parameters set for displaying it.
I don't get any crashes which is good.

Here is my plugin list, take note that there are quite alot in there that are turned off due to plugin collisions that haven't been resolved or that they simply are discontinued by the developer etc etc.
I've had these lists checked through before by some of the experienced staff members here so they do work besides this one issue about the formation check box.

so far I can see, YEP plugins are not in the correct order,
secondlyly, you use 2x or 3x bind picture to map (so it is highly to colide).
third, YEP_X_HitAccuracy = 2x available, and probably more double
plugins in the list.

so you need to make sure all YEP plugins are in the correct order
and keep them more organized.

while your plugins of other is over all others that can conflict others.

YEP_CoreEngine is mostly the first on top unless stated otherwise.
so reorder your plugin as given on yanfly website.
as well for all other in the correct position to avoid conflict.

I suggest to make a backup before doing so, and see if it work afterwards.

OK it's fairly early for me and i should be in bed but i wanted to get the list organized on a backup to save time.

I checked the yanfly engine plugins page and reorganized them again to the list as ordered from top to bottom including deactivated ones- save the plugins I had installed.
I'm not entirely sure why there was duplicate plugins but that might have been someone else who previously organized the plugin list for me.
The only plugin of yanfly's that isn't positioned is YEP_AICore which I can't find on the list for positioning.

I did a play test and it seems to be resulting in the same problem with missing quest options in the menu.

I have a YEP plugin that shows the correct order included that one,
so I can tell where you need to place it.

ALOE had a plugin but not updated, so I clean up that plugin
and extended the list of ALL plugins out there.

there is a YEP_BattleAICore if that is the one you mean.
which can be found, however, there are 2 plugin that exist,
but not placed on the category list.

YEP_ElementAbsorb & YEP_ElementReflect, all others are there.
I don't know if this plugin works with others in them.

Sure if you can let me know where they go that'll take us a bit closer to find out whats going on.

I even made a copy deactivating all non Yanfly plugins and i'm unfortunately still getting the same results.

For whatever reason if that Formation box is unchecked in the database/system/menu commands
it will remove the quest plugin's option from the menu.

I dont have it formation checked and it shows up in the menu.
another way (if you add a plugin) YEP_MainMenuManager
you can add all the commands (even defaults) and quest plugin
to show at least on the order you want as well.

why it doesn't work for you or removed the option "formation"
and quest command is removed is a riddle though.

I have no clue what exactly happend.
if you do do YEP_CoreEngine + YEP_QuestJournal in a clean project,
and formation unchecked, does it work there? or also removed on your end?

because I'm clueless if it is as well and not on my end.
YEP_MainMenuManager at least solve it for sure for every custom command.
so not sure why it doesn't work for you.

I have no idea either why this is an issue, the project is essentially giving me the option of "put up with formation" or have no quest journal option. I'm really confused because i've made fresh projects with the plugins and i'm getting the same wierd issue where it won't allow me to have the formation turned off, so looks like i'm just going to have to do this through plugins.

I figured throught the main menu manager this is the parameter section for it, but how make it not show up entirely I do not know how properly, even when i want to add false to show it doesn't work?
