RMMV Yanfly Quest Journal - Stop side quests from taking the active spot when a main quest is active

HI everyone,

Is it possible to modify the active status of a quest in Yanfly Quest Journal? I'm not finding anything in the help section unfortunately.

Basically, i have a main quest active (and therefore showing in the Map Quest window), and my characters are given a side quest after interacting with an event, but then that side quest becomes the active quest.

I'd like to be able to set it so a side quest won't become the active quest if a main quest is active, but a side quest can become the active quest if no main quests are active.

Any ideas are much appreciated!

there is a param: "Quest Add" which is probably on "ON" which will
make a new quest activated, also active.

if you make it false, you must probably do it manually with the plugin Command:

SetActiveQuest x

to set the new quest active in the Quest window (if you read the helpfile
and or params to adjust to your needs.

if you have sidequest and no curectly main quest open,
you can make a list or common event, with conditional branches and show choices,
to set a different quest active using the plugin command.

I dont use those plugin at the moment, but you can figure it out :)

Thank you Sir! I was looking for this functionality in Quest Journal but you're right, it's in Map Quest Window.

Hi! I've been working on some character sprites for my pirate themed game.
