Hello everyone,

  • Does any of you experienced problems positioning battlers with row formation plugin running with the yanfly battle core?
  • Also, when you add a battler in the middle of the battle, the added battler goes into a random place which is not in either any of the selectable row (even if you set the notetag defaulrow in the actor notebox).
  • Another problem i experience is that if you change the order of the formation, even if the battlers are in the same rows their positions will be all messed up
  • I tried to play with the formulas, I ended up to set the position of the max row and minimum row xy home with fixed coordinates (instead of the default formulas of the plugin)
  • I'm using an ATB sytem, i don't know if it can afflict anyhow the positioning of the battlers.
My goal would be:
  • to solve the add battler issue in the way that the battler immediately goes to his position of the row given.
  • Have the battlers in the same position in their row even if the formation changes (for same position i mean: the position set on the plugin. For example, if i have a party of 3 members, and 2 battlers are 1st row and 1 second row, in my idea it would be a triangle with the point pointing right (home) since the first like has 2 battlers spread on the Y)
  • If it would be possible, make the same thing for the enemies rows.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
