Something that up until now, I have not had to really do with this game yet. But now, I think I've hit a wall and only a script will solve the problem.

Here's the deal: Yanfly Save Core plugin only lists Variable Values in numeric format, unless of course you use a script for your variable. I want to change it so that it reads "Day", "Morning", "Evening" or "Night" whenever the variable is changed to that setting.

Is there anyway to do it? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Can't change the title anyway.

Please edit your title to something meaningful. From the existing title ("I think I need a script") you could be asking for literally almost anything. Many people go by the title to decide if the thread is worth opening because they think they might be able to help. At the moment such people have no reason to open this thread.

If you want something which might involve changing, or at least referring to, an existing plugin, please give a link in your opening post so that if anyone needs to check something they do not have to go hunting for it.

Both of those things will help people to help you.

I just tried setting variable 1 to the word "Hello" and saving it using Yanfly's Save Core, and it works. So it looks like words can be correctly displayed in the Save scene as long as the variable is set accordingly. Just to clarify, do you want something beyond that?

I would have thought that the tags would have been enough, but oh well.. In any case, the value of the variable would be displayed on the save screen (Day or Night for instance) though the variable value would change.

Anyway, you should probably move this thread back to it's original location because this isn't a Plugin request as much as it is a Script call question. I'll change the title to something more suitable.

Edit: I tried editing the title, but there wasn't an option.

It's at the top of the original post. It's separate from the edit option at the bottom.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
