Yanfly's Keyboard Config - Auto WASD

Hey guys,

As the title suggests, I'm using Yanfly's Keyboard Config.

I'd like to set the default configuration to WASD as I fully intend to to remove the "Options" tab from my game so players can't mess around with stuff which could potentially cause a mess as I have some keybinds that must stay the way they are... plus it makes it easier in game to tell players which buttons do what!

Anyone know of a way to automatically set up WASD controls with a simple script call or plugin command? I've looked in the help section and can't see any reference to it!

AFAIK, you'd have to edit the plugin to make it default, and I wouldn't recommend doing that.

I already changed a few bits in the scrip... but they are minor changes that just add in certain keybinds when in WASD. But yeah I'd really like it if we could just make WASD default... perhaps @Yanfly could add in a parameter into the plugin to select a default layout? (Although I realise you are very busy).

You could always ask on the plugin request, if you're a $3+ USD patron on his ******* or PM him on Reddit. Or you could go in plugin request ask for someone to do the edit for you, or go into paid request and ask someone to do it for a price .

I'm not a fan of WASD myself, so what I would recommend is give the player the option to use both WASD and ARROW KEYS to control movement. A good plugin for that is ZE Key Mapper.
All you have to do is install the plugin, and set it up so that the WASD keys trigger the Arrow Keys.
Then you won't need Keyboard Config.

But Keyboard Config just remaps the keys and lets the player change the keys to whatever they want. While ZE Mapper alters the keys and doesn't allow for player dictated mapping.

Yeah, but Coopziana wants to remove the options and not allow the player to customize the controls, from what I understood.

Your right I miss read the OP. Then yeah ZE Keymapper is the better choice.

Can i ask how to download files from node.js? This node.js is new to me. I try searching but i dont understand a thing.
