I use Yanfly’s Message Core, and the line break (<br>) stopped working. I created a new clean project and tested the plugin there, it doesn’t work. Maybe someone knows how to fix it? :kaoswt2:

There could be various reasons, but if it does not work even on a new project, then it is likely that you made an error somewhere while using it.

So we would need a screenshot of an example where it does not work so we can figure out what went wrong.

You need to tell the plugin to enable word-wrap:
  • Set the plugin's Word Wrapping parameter to true in the Plugin Manager; or
  • Include a <WordWrap> tag in each message where you want to enable word-wrap.
If you've already done that, then make sure all other plugins are turned off and try again...it might be a plugin conflict and/or bad load order?

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, when I set Word Wrapping to true, Iavra Localization stops working correctly. It uses /n for line breaks.

The problem is that just recently both plugins have worked perfectly together without word-wrap enabled. Perfectly. I have a lot of text… Re-formatting all the text lines will be a hell of the work.

In my test clean project, I have only Yanfly's Core and Yanfly's Message Core, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

My prime suspect is NW.js. I had a problem with this, and found the solution here:

Both problems appeared together, so maybe they are connected, or maybe not.

I don't use \n specifically, that's just the default way to add linebreaks to a JavaScript string. I won't rule out that my plugin has issues, though, it's quite old and not maintained. Did you try disabling it and see if that causes the issue?

Your plugin is stunningly great, there are no problems with it.

Yes, I know. The problem is that when I enable word-wrapping in Yanfly’s Message Core, \n stops working. That’s not connected with the Localization plugin. And I have never enabled word-wrapping in Yanfly’s Message Core before, and everything worked well. Bad luck, I guess.

I managed to solve the issue. Thank you all!
