YEA - Skill cost manager

Hey guys, having trouble getting the skill cost manager to work in my game.

I have added

<mp cost: 10%>

to my skill paralyze that has a base of 7 mp to cast but when im battle testing with it at level 10 the mp cost still stays at 7.

anyone know whats going on here?

Did you save your game before you battle tested?

It is a common mistake since it is not intuitive that you need to manually save the game before you battle test.

Hey while we're here, I'm trying to make a skill deal damage equal to the current MP of the user, and cost all of his MP.

So far, I've got this in the notetag: 

<custom cost: allMP><custom cost colour: 23><custom cost perform> var[1] = self.mp self.mp = 0</custom cost perform><custom cost requirement> self.mp > 0</custom cost requirement>And in the damage-formula:

v[1]

But the variable doesn't seem to chance by the user's MP, and neither works putting this in the damage formula:

a.mp; a.mp = 0

Thank you!

Okay, I've fixed it by removing the entire custom cost perform, and putting the following in the damage formula: 

v[1] = a.mp; a.mp = 0; v[1]

Sorry for the quick question, and anyone who wonders is now welcome ;-)

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
