Firstly, I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum, even though I'm pretty sure that I'm not. It's been forever since I last asked anything, b/c I can typically find answers that already exist in the forums, or on Google, but this issue is driving me nuts, & I can't seem to find a resolution anywhere. So, as much as I pref. to work things out myself, this one has just got me stumped.

On to the problem. I've carefully studied Yanfly's CEM over & over again, searched countless forums, & YouTube vids on more specific instructions on setting this script up, with no luck. I'd like to use it, but I'm getting very frustrated. In lieu of screenshots (which I can post, if need be), let me just explain what I've done so far, & maybe someone can point out what I've missed...

#1) I've setup the following Plugin commands under common event 50
> SetCommonEventMenuSettings Subtext Reverse Picture Setup
> ClearCommonEventMenu
> AddCommonEventMenu 51, 52
> DisableCommonEventMenuCancel
> OpenCommonEventMenu

#2) I added nothing but comments to both CE51 & CE52 (e.g. Icon, Picture, Help Description, & Subtext), which are meant to serve as the menu "commands" / options.

#3) I added an event to my map which only contains the "run common event" command
(e.g. 'Common Event: Fast Travel')

For those who know JS really well, but may not be familiar with this plugin, here's a link to it:
http://yanfly.moe/2016/05/06/yep-98-common-event-menu-rpg-maker-mv/

When I click on the map event, nothing happens. I've tried numerous combinations of plugin commands & comments that deviate from what Yanfly instructed, just to try various things, with no luck. I'm using mostly YEP scripts, minus a couple of others which are listed as "YEP Compatible", & haven't given me any issues yet, so I doubt it's a compatibility prob.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated... (& thx in advance!!)

OK... so who doesn't like a good screenshot to glance at instead of deciphering text? I was trying to keep from cluttering up the page (as it req. several shots to demonstrate), but I think it might portray my scenario a little better.

Here's the Setup CE:

Here's what's in CE51:

Here's what's in CE52:

And finally... here's how the Map CE is setup:

OH... & I know I haven't setup any functions (e.g. player transitions) yet, as I was just trying to test the system, to see if it would work, before I dumped a lot of time into getting all of the travel points setup.

I sorted it out myself. Turned out to be a conflict with one of the native / default plugins, for some strange reason, that I had overlooked. For those with a similar prob to mine, where everything in YEP's CEM is configured correctly, but your map event doesn't trigger the plugin, check your plugin list to make sure you don't have any default plugins (e.g. ItemBook, EnemyBook, or the trouble-maker for me, Community_Basic) that are either active or conflicting. Not sure if the conflicting plugin was bugged or corrupted.... in either case, disabling / deleting it from the plugin list fixed my problem.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
