Hello,

I'm getting an annoying visual bug when using these two plugins.

I'm using static battle images in a side-view battle setup

Choosing the 'Row' battle menu command works as expected, but when I use a skill to change a party member's row, the character's movement is messed up. Opening 'Row' again and altering the character placement fixes the incorrect battler placements.

Any ideas?

PLEASE FORGIVE THE SNORING XD
Spells:
'Fall back' = move user to row 2 (The back row)
'Jump' = move user to row 1 (Front row)

The file is locked.

Sorry, which file?
Do you mean yanfly's? I know it's locked behind a paywall,
If you're interested in helping me fix this problem I'll send it

You had blocked the video from your Google Drive.
What I see between yesterday and today you unlocked.

Extra tip:
Use a software called OBS to record your game window, it has no watermark.

The code authors are different, that is, what happens is that both systems control various aspects of the battle system, and there is probably some repositioning calculation that is in conflict between the two Plugins.

To “correct” someone who understands at least one of these systems would have to analyze and edit the Plugins.

And, as far as I know, they may not be allowed by the authors.

Solution:
Remove the VE systems and use the normal "SV Battlers", but place all the FRAMES with the same image, the size is responsive.

There are software that replicate frames with ease.

Thank you. I was thinking of making each character it's own single frame animation sheet but... I have over 250 characters, so I'm thinking just hiring someone to edit the scripts is more viable.

@Geo

Before having all that work, test the YEP systems and see if the error has stopped happening.

Then if everything is right, try using PhotoScape, it has a tool called "Combine".

To create the 54 frames of the image (9x6) you can use this Batch Script that I made:
BatchScript (54-Copies.bat)
Code:
@echo off
title Create 54 PNG Copys
set /p filename=Insert Filename:
set count=1

:REPEAT
copy %1 %filename%_%count%.png >nul
echo %filename%_%count%.png created^!
set /a count=%count%+1

if [%count%]==[55] goto ENDBATCH
goto REPEAT

:ENDBATCH
echo Completed^!
pause >nul

Move the battler and the Batch Script into an empty folder.
Drag the "Battler" on top of the icon of "Batchfile".

Hey,
So, turning off VE & making a sheet of animations with the 1 frame works, The visual bug is gone..
but The script you wrote makes 54 individual files.. I'm not sure what you want me to do with that :p

Nice, I see how it works now, it combines all the images which is cool, I just can't figure out how to combine them but keep the background transparent

I don't see a need for double posting if there is an edit button.

About combining sprites:
I just tested a called ShoeBox (Requires Adobe AIR.)
On the "Animation" tab, use the "Sheet sheet" tool.
In "Settings", change "Set sheet width" to the size of the "Battler" width multiplied by 9.

Example:
See the example, I took the battler from the RTP archer, it is 187 pixels wide, multiplying by 9 returns 1683, I put the value in the field.

This result worked perfectly in the battle of the game (See the attachment).

EDIT:
If this makes your project too heavy we will look for a Plugin that solves the problem.

I don't have Air, unfortunately.
I have photoshop though, I tried this one method, automate -> contact sheet but again it gave me a tiled image with a white background :\

I had forgotten that Adobe AIR would no longer be supported. I'm going to install Photoscape and see what could be wrong.

Edit:
@Geo : I still haven't found software that does this with PNG images.
Try using this solution while I don't find one that works:
https://spritegen.website-performance.org/
Click the "Clear" button first.

As a last resort I can do this for you with ShoeBox.
