So, regardless of the layer, will my character ALWAYS be able to walk through doodads?  Like I have torches that are around a summoning circle in yhe center of a room and i have them on the same layer as charcters but there isn't signs of collision

Doodads are just images\pictures, they have zero collision. You have to use either Yanfly's region restrict plugin, or, set up a few blank tiles with passability configured on them. The layers in Doodads simply dictates whether the image appears beneath, above, or at the same level as the player, nothing more.

Region Restrictions.

Ughhhh and here i was hoping it would be easy. Blocking passability in blank tiles wont be too hard. Thanks for the fast reply @The Stranger

Really it's easy, when you build your map, put restriction (it's 10 for restrics) in your map, where you wish put doodads later.

Then try your game (test) and open doodas, pressing R will show the restrictions , fill your restrictions with your doodads!

Once i had a bug restrictions did not show, but you can still play your test game window from the side and watch the position of your restriction on the editor :p

Enjoy!

Doodads also use layers and has a grid snap function so you won't get lost when placing them.

Maybe Yanfly should include in the next update a coordinates feature for the grid that isn't the x and y coordinates, but gives coordinates according to the in-engine map editor?

A workaround for this is to Make a common event that shows the Players X and Y positions based on the Editor Grid coordinates.
Then use that common event together with Yanfly's Button common events plugin to display the players current position on the map.
This will help the player minimize the guesswork in where to place the region restrictions tile.

note: Recommend with grid snap on.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
