[YEP] Make an enemy sprite disappear in battle when it attacks?

Hello!

I am trying to make an enemy sprite disappear when it does an attack in battle! This is because im making it's attack animation of the sprite attacking, but of course the sprite is still back there behind the animation.

Is there any way to make the sprite disappear for only the duration of the attack animation?

Mhm, perphaps you could remplace it with a common event and temporally remplace it with another ennemy who have identical stats and once the animation done, retransform it?

I am very sorry, I have completely misunderstood where I was and what tools I am using!

I have Yanfly's system as part of my game and that's why enemies have attack animations in the first place! I should go and ask on the yanfly forums, not here as far as I know.

Thank you for your suggestion though, That might prove handy though if all else fails!

EDIT: After looking around, it seems I can still ask about this here? I just need to put [YEP ] in my thread name!

What is your attack animation? It sounds like it's the sprite moving over to the party and doing its stuff. In which case, why do you have a separate static graphic that you then need to get rid of?

Aah okay my bad Kes! Let me clarify:



I have the "frontfacing" kind of RPG battle setup!

What I want is for the static enemy sprite back there to disappear while it does it's attack, because the attack animation will show it doing it's attack!

And as you can see im using Yanfly's core engine stuff too so there's that to consider.

Also Manpaint, doing that common event thing for every single attack ever sounds like the most excrusiating exercise in frustration!

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
