I need someone who understands the parameter settings in Yanfly's row formation plugin to help me center my battlers. I've looked at it for awhile, but I can't pretend like I understand a single thing it says when it comes to the formulas to position battlers.

I understand X and Y axis, as they are as positions on something, but I have no idea what to edit to properly center the battlers. My plugin is currently on complete default settings that come with downloading YEP Row Formations.

I would both appreciate an explanation on how I should go about centering them, or moving up the enemy battlers I suppose is what it looks more like I need, or someone could just flat out tell me the formula I should use.

Thanks for any help.

Here is what it looks like by default.

The enemy battlers you can rearrange them in the Troops Tab on your Database.

Having said that, I would also like to know better how to mess with the party's row formation, because I find sometimes my mages in the second row will hide behind the first row, and you can't see the casting animation.

That, and if you don't mind me hijacking your thread, also would be nice to now how to limit number of actors per row.

For example, party of six, but only three actors can be on any one row at a time.

I know how to change their position in rows, but not how to change them so they are on an equal level with the PC's party, like you can see they are at the bottom of the screen while the PCs are at the top/centerish, I can't figure out how to change the formulas so that they are on an equal level. :/

I'm not talking about their row position.

If you go to the Troop Tab in the Database, you can see pictures of your enemies (assuming you have pictures of them when you created them in the Enemies Tab).

You can rearrange these pictures and position them anywhere you like on the battlefield.

Wow, I am truly an idiot. ;_;

This whole time I thought it had something to do with the plugin...Glad it was something so simple, I'm a dumbo.

Thanks for informing me of this.

Hey, no problem man.

I do stuff like this all the time.

I think the problem is overthinking things, and never looking into the more simple stuff.

You can turn the YEP_RowFormation's paramater "Adjust Relative" to "true".

Then tweak the "Enemy Row X/Y" paramaters to fit your need.

Additionally, edit the "YEP_RowFormation.js" file and Un-Comment it's row 1861.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
