RMMV YEP_Quest Journal - Quests disappear when multiple are active?

When I use "Quest Add 7" to add quest #7 into the Journal, it works fine and appears normally. However, when I add another event that runs "Quest Add 8", both quests completely disappear from the Quest log. The game shows "Available (2)", but the list is blank.

I did a fresh re-install of the plugin just in case I tweaked a setting that broke it, and I put both of the "Quest Add x" events onto just a blank event with nothing else in them. I use to one event and Quest 7 gets added. Then I use the other event, and they both disappear. I even deleted both of the quests, went to another blank quest slot, left all the quest details with their default information, and tried it again but got the same results: when the second quest gets added, they both vanish from the list. Has anyone else had experience with this sort of issue?

I have quest 5 and 6 in mine with no issues.

I am running 1.01 version of plugin.

You probably need to provide some screen shots for better assistance.

Some screenshots to illustrate my problem:
1.PNG
Here's the plugin settings - everything except for quests 1-4 are Default Settings. I made the names "Test 1" and "Test 2" as Quests 7 and 8, which are the ones I'm using now.

Here is the box event that adds Quest 7.

Here is the box event that adds Quest 8.

After using the first box, Test 1 is added correctly.

6.PNG
After using the second box, both quests vanish.

Lastly, here are my plugins - I put QuestJournal near the top to hopefully prevent any possible complications, but I can't seem to resolve this issue.

@Grunwave My plugin is v1.02, so I wonder if something broke in this update.

There's definitely something up with the plugin. I created a new project, made two events with
"Quest Add 1" and "Quest Add 2" and the same issue still occurs.

Is there a way to downgrade to the previous version of Quest Journal? If not, could someone link me a copy of their v1.01 version? It's part of Yanfly's "Free Plugin" pack, so there shouldn't be any problem with sharing it.

I'm using 1.02 and I have no problem having multiple quests at a time.

This could be a part of the problem. Yanfly's plugins must go in the specific order they are listed on the Yanfly Engine Library Web site, or random bugs (like this) can occur.

You should review that list and make sure every Yanfly plugin you're using is in that order. Then save your project, start a new game and test again.

Welp, scratch that - mark this as Solved, I suppose. I deleted the plugin again, copied it into the plugins folder from the ZIP again (I was just out of ideas and basically going insane), but now it seems to be working (???). I don't know what I did differently - everything is still default settings and I even put the plugin back at the same spot it was in last time. Nothing is different, but... oh well. I'm just glad they aren't vanishing anymore.

Thanks for the advice, nonetheless. If anyone in the future finds this post from googling a similar issue, my only advice is: delete the plugin from your projects Plugin folder and re-add it straight from the ZIP folder. I've got no idea how, but that fixed it for me :kaodes:

like ATT_Turan sad, YEP plugins must be in a strict order, either from
the website or through my plugin in the spoiler (PluginOrderChecker)
which is fully updated.

sometimes, "add objective 1" can help too, instead of just "Quest Add x".

Spiffing up maps is actually a lot of fun.
So the concept for my Game Jam project is way more than I can complete before the deadline. But I think I found a way to get the core done and make the incomplete parts either not really noticeable or make them a part of the story for now. That sneaky, dastardly Krampus! Then I can complete the rest. Did I mention that this is fun?
