Message system still can't word wrap (this should have been the first thing to be worked on) A line does not a word wrap make! You people obviously knew there was an issue so you put a line, have it word wrap at the line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even Notepad for Windows has wordwrapping support

No full screen support

no widescreen resolutions on PC or Mac

no in game script editor so now we are even more locked out of our games

no html 5 deployment option to be found

No support for anything other than Chibi style sprites or resources.

DRM is bad and gives me issues in Windows 10, it simply won't activate on Windows 10, it just keeps spitting me back to the same screen when I try.

blurry user interface (what gives?) Why is it so blurry? It is giving me a headache!

Broken help tips when hovering over items. I am using default Windows 7 color settings.

This is just as much a letdown as VX was, if not more so, at least VX UI wasn't blurry or broken. I had such high hopes for this release. Oh well enjoy the money, perhaps there will be updates that address these glaring issues. For (some of us $71) an $80 "professional" tool I expected better. Come on why release such a broken application? You should have put development off for another month to address these issues. I am very sad for this release.

When I say "you" I mean KADOKAWA not Deciga. Maybe one of the devs here can pass along the information to KADOKAWA and they can fix this.

There's plugins for the resolution and word wrapping.

There is full screen support, a plugin for wordwrapping and screen size adjustments. In fact there are at least 2 ways to change screensize and I want to say 3...

There is support for any art you want to make, they provided you with tons of art you can choose to ignore....but expecting them to make art for everyone is unrealistic.

The blurry interface does stink however. Not sure why they didn't address that.

did you even try to search for your answers?

because the first half of your complains is simply wrong (for example you don't need a HTML5 deployment because that folder is automatically created)...

you have to install the plugins. There are tons of them, you may not want all of them for all projects. You install plugins into each project as needed.

doesnt look blurry to me
It isn't sharp at all. Its like those software settings to upscale fonts or to make them easier to read(but never does). Others can see the issue as well. Fonts in your browser or ACE or even the windows dock will be way sharper than the fonts in the MV interface. Some are more sensitive to it than others, but it's certainly not sharp.

You have to manually place them in your games project folder. There should have been 6 (I think) separate ZIP files if you did the Preorder bonus thing. Unzip and transfer the files you want in your game to their respective folders. Same goes for plugins.

For an $80 program I shouldn't have to search for these, they should be defaults, addressed and done, pointed out to the user. Any normal user is going to take one look at this and pass it by. VX Ace was so amazing. I press alt enter and nothing happens in game. I try to use the plugins and there are no plugins that you speak of. Simply put, failed release.

You really didn't bother to look at all, did you? In the e-mail we got, there are links to the pre-order bonuses. One of them contains the plugins folks mentioned.

The plugins are not there by default because they are custom made by the community! You have to download and add them yourself.

It's not failed, because you're lazy >.>

Anyway, full screen isn't Alt+Enter anymore, but F4 (toggle between full screen and window) and F3 (changing screensize when in fullscreen).

Plugins were either in your mail (if you ordered through this site) or in your Steam dlc folder (if you bought from Steam).

Think about your statement. A program you pay $80 for. Needs community support to be viable and usable. No. Unacceptable!

Entitled much? As everyone else has said, the plugins are additional content. As not everyone wants every plugin in every project, you add them manually. Oh no, you have to copy/paste something into a folder. You're right, they should pay you $80 for such an inconvenience.

If you find it so terrible, go use Unity, which is free. Oh, but good luck using it if you don't want any community support, which you seem to think should be completely unnecessary. In reality, it is what makes all of these engines so great.

you keep bringing up the price but its not relevant. Regardless of price you will always want to spend time doing research. If you bought a $3000 software you would be expected to read about it, or watch some tutorials....

Normal users do read. And I also had the alt enter issue. Not sure why it changed but someone kindly informed me that F4 now does that. It was 1am so I didn't read the help either...

on the surface yes, but I wouldn't expect them to get very far at all...

He mad, but he cute :kaopride:

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
