Hello everybody :)

I'm Ympker, a 17 year old student from Germany.

Currently i am learning the very basics of the RPG MAKER VX ACE, thanks to some of the official tutorials. Also whilest learning how to use RPG MAKER VX ACE, i am creating a little minigame, since the tutorial is encouraging me to do so.

Maybee some of you will recognize what tutorial i am following, so it might seem very basic to you. But thats fine with me :) I am at the beginning of my journey.

Anyway, any game, even if its a minigame based on a tutorial, needs some personal touch. So i decided to try out the GameCharacterHub i recently purchased and created the Main character for this little tutorialgame: Luffy

He is based on a farmer preset of XP, however was edited 2-3 hours by me to look more like Luffy. Now, to conclude this, i just wanna say that i hope that i will be starting my own project in the soon future, after learning the basics :)

Have fun and don't be afraid to ask if you don't understand something. Just take a look around first to see if anyone has already asked/answered it first.

Now, not bad with the map, but there are 2 things I would suggest, both dealing with the same area.

For one thing, it looks odd to have what appears to be a grave marker on an inaccessible ledge so I would recommend giving some way to get to it rather than just see it.

For another, and while it is in the same area this is has to do with the map graphics themselves instead, to look at the bottom of the ledge the cliff there is 2 tiles high, yet the cliff above it is also 2 tiles high while still reaching the same ground level and is even with the the beck edge of the ledge?

I just used an image editor rather than remaking it in VX Ace so it doesn't look quite right, but as you can see in the second image here; if you make the ledge go back 1 tile further so the back edge of it isn't level with the bottom of the cliff behind it, and also make the cliff in front only one tile high, it looks more realistic.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
