You and Halloween Costumes?

What costume would make you want to have that costume yourself and wear it every day (favorite) and what one would make want to burn it, kill it with fire, and run home to Mama in fear (least favorite)? Answers don't have to be real costumes and pictures are fine, but please keep images to the forum's PG13 rules.

I don't really do costumes anymore. All the cool ones are way to expensive for me to justify buying, especially since I live in a forest and as you can expect, we don't really get trick-or-treaters.

I guess my dream costume would be Apocalymon from Digimon, or maybe even Bluto from Popeye since I superficially resemble him as is, minus the muscles of course.

Considering that i've had nightmares about being stalked by a guy dressed as Cool Cat, I want to burn every Cool Cat costume in existence...

@Darkanine Your nightmares sound better than the dreams I have of being stalked by a Hades (Kid Icarus Uprising) that spout expletives at everyone and even flipped Nicol Bolas from MtG the bird several times while the song "Moves Like Jagger" played in the background... Yeah, my dreams might go into borderline hallucination-y and trippy at times.

Last year my brother and I came up with the idea of him and his wife (who was formerly my girlfriend) dressing up as Dale and Nancy Gribble from King of the Hill while I dressed up as John Redcorn. Apart from the perils of being called culturally insensitive (which I'd be fine with) she nixed the idea the second it was proposed to her for obvious reasons. I still think it would be one of the most hilarious group costumes in the history of group costumes though. I haven't worn a costume since I was 9 and never gone to a Halloween party but I'd be willing to do both to pull that one off.

I've worn some pretty darn cool costumes, but nothing like real cosplay. I'd love to have a costume that's TRON related; I was such a sucker for that movie growing up. With glowing lines, helmet, and a Frisbee. Its still my dream costume. Even TRON Legacy hasn't changed that, lol.

The costume I'd like to kill with fire though is Spongebob Squarepants. I'm soooo sick of that costume; its showed up every Halloween on my doorstep for over a decade, and its still stupid looking. It wasn't even cute or fun the first time. I've only seen one person really pull it off, and it was in a comedy skit:

@Mystryl_Shada The closest things I ever wore that was close to cosplay were a homemade costume of the Bionicle Turaga Vakama

That is a darn cool idea for a costume! My family collected all those original Bionicles, before the series got way too complicated and expensive to keep up, so I actually recognize the name Turaga. In fact, that was the character that sat on my Dad's truck dash for years. Go Bionicle.

Clone Wards Obi-Wan is awesome, so go you for that cosplay.
