    Some random picks of mine.

    Dark Souls 3 has my favourite ost of any souls game:

    Link

    I personally don't like the game that much, but The Wticher 3 has an excellent soundtrack:

    Link

    Rayman Origins has a fun ost:

    Link

    I also hear Incitement 3 has an awesome soundtrack :p

    I tend to subconsciously like the music of certain games I play and then forget about them if they had too soothing an effect on my mind. Talk about the Dory Effect ;3;

    OSTs I really liked :

    1. The Night of The Rabbit . Also the Title Track

    2. Ara Fell (Even though this is a pretty old RPG)

    3. Amnesia

    4. Aveyond : Rhen's Quest (I cannot seem to get this tune out of my head once I start listening to it)

    5. Bastion *copies from Dalph*

    6. Date Warp (Used to like this song a lot before, primarily because of the singer's voice) \'3'/

        Beware : It's a romantic song XDD

    7. Drawn : The Painted Tower

    In general though, I find this composition absolutely heavenly even though it's from an anime. If I ever hear music even remotely similar to this in a game, I'll insta-add it to my playlist (。’▽’。)♡

    No-one mentioned Falcom Sound Team's sterling work on the Ys series? For shame. Some of the best JRPG soundtracks I've ever heard.

    Gust do some magnificent tunes too. Their recent PS4 games Nights of Azure has an incredible soundtrack.

    Megadimension Neptunia V-II has some fab music as well, particularly where it's channelling Genesis-era soundtracks.

    This thread reminds me of what we used to do at XSEED forum last year. We had several music tournament where the members would submit 4-6 of their favorite music tracks from video games. Then, we would put them into pairs, and everyone would vote to see which one is better. The one with more votes will win and move on to the next round. Sort of like World Cup. :p

    I think it would be fun if we do that here, since we have more active members. But the host must be someone willing to do a little extra work and have enough time. Is anyone interested in doing this? Sounds exciting, no? :D

    I really love the complete Life is Strange Soundtrack, especially "The sense of me" from the last episode.

    @Matseb2611 You're right! The songs pretty much have the same overtones, not to mention the vocals in both are pretty smooth and low-pitched. I'm liking the emotions

    conveyed in the Bionic Dues theme, though (imo) I feel like they messed up the ending a little with that background piano >.>

    I was so ready to run in here shouting about Baten Kaitos, then I realized those game are over 10 years old now and I'm old. ;_____;

    Anyway, I love pretty much anything composed by Motoi Sakuraba, so Eternal Sonata, the Dark Souls games, any of the recent Tales games. Those all have wonderful soundtracks that are worth a listen.

    Inon Zur is one of my favorites, too. He did Dragon Age: Origins and helped with Dragon's Dogma. Both really awesome soundtracks.

    Some great tracks, guys. Thanks for sharing.

    @Valkyriet: Aww yeah. I personally like the ending piano bit, but I do agree that it's a bit of an abrupt wind down from the full on speed the song had prior to it.

    As a huge fan of game music, and a musician myself, I have a hard time narrowing down a favorite in my mind, and instead categorize soundtracks into favorites, lol.

    I do, however, tend to have soundtracks that I become enamored with and listen to for ages and ages. Whatever soundtrack this may be tends to become my go-to music for game development, as well. Lately, that soundtrack has been Undertales, after having streamed it. Such a good soundtrack. @_@.

    Persona 3 soundtrack was so unique when  I first heard it. I actually listen to the soundtrack on the regular basis. I'm actually trying to figure out a way to incorporate a more modern day soundtrack in my project but I just haven't found the inspiration and sound I'm looking for yet.

    I also remember liking the Tales of Symphonia battle music, I sometimes hum it to myself sometimes out of nowhere.

    And I can't forget Blue Dragon's soundtrack which really makes playing the game a delight. My girlfriend even finds herself humming the tunes and she doesn't like video game music.
