Kinda expected it should be pronounced Zed. Only north America call that Zee. Rest of the world is often a variation of Zed or Zay, sometimes Zi.

French would say ém Zed.

@JosephSeraph 2K3 users are like old noble bloodlines, or vampire lords. They sit in their dusty, old mansions and crypts plotting and scheming God knows what. The oldest among their kind are those still using the fan translated version from time immemorial.

I mean, I do see the one advantage of pronouncing it Em-Zed, and that is that Em-Zee and Em-Vee sound so close it can be hard to differentiate when speaking quickly.

Little tidbit: It's apparently pronounced Em-Zed.

I was the only American in a voice meeting last night, and I got razzed pretty hard for calling it Em-Zee .

We pronounce it zed down under, but I had trained myself to call it Em Zee, because it sounds like MV, and because I figured that's how everyone else would pronounce it. Now to undo all that training and go back to the "right" way

Yeah I was born and raised in Canada where I always called it Zed, moved to America when I was 11 or 12 and have since adopted "Zee". Funnily enough one of the first things that brought the change to my attention was the fact that Dragon Ball Z was rising in popularity around the time we moved, and one of the first things I saw on TV was a trailer for the first season. "DRAGON BALL ZEE AIRING WEEKDAYS AT 5:30"
